HobDrive functions as an advanced Trip Computer and OBD2 diagnostic application, designed to provide comprehensive vehicle data analysis through integration with various hardware interfaces.

The software utilizes your Vehicle Adapter and GPS sensors to gather and synthesize trip information, supporting a range of connection types, including ELM327-based Bluetooth 4 LE, WiFi, Carista, OBDMax, and VieCar. Vehicle sensors (requiring an ELM327 adapter) include capabilities such as:

The application can calculate MPG employing various methodologies suitable for different vehicle types, such as:

Note: HobDrive may utilize GPS data to record trips visually. Prolonged use of GPS in background mode can significantly reduce device battery life. Please contact support if you experience connectivity issues with your ELM327 adapter or vehicle compatibility; many cases require custom settings that our team is happy to assist with.

The full suite of HobDrive features is available for 30 days post-installation. After this trial period, users should decide whether to purchase a license or cease usage. During the trial, manufacturer-specific MIL code readings are restricted.
